Help provide cockroaches to feed the spiders in the Bugs Alive! exhibition of Museum Victoria!

Imagine if Phar Lap hadn’t been stuffed...

The State Collection at Museum Victoria is a resource indebted to those in the past who enhanced and preserved the collection for our benefit today. Museum Victoria is dedicated to ensuring future generations inherit a collection of which they can be proud. Donations help with this work and go towards Museum Victoria’s public programs, exhibitions and research. Some of the ways you can help include:

• $30 provides cockroaches to feed the spiders in the Bugs Alive! Exhibition for a fortnight.
• $270 can acquire Indigenous Australian art, such as a painted necklace made in central Australia.
• $500 can purchase a historic document, such as a 1930 Derby Day Program featuring Phar Lap.
• $3,000 can fund a dinosaur dig at Inverloch for one week. This dig has produced 85% of all Australian mammal fossils from the Age of Dinosaurs and a large number of dinosaur fossils.
